wi-Q Technologies adds support for omni-channel payments via intelligent payments provider, PXP
wi-Q Technologies have announced that its cloud-based, mobile ordering and digital engagement platforms, wi-Q and Mi-Room, now support payments via PXP, an omni-channel, international payments provider.
wi-Q is the web-based integrated mobile ordering solution developed for food and beverage outlets, while Mi-Room delivers solutions for the full spectrum of hotel guest services including in-room ordering, spa, guest loyalty and housekeeping requests. In addition to cash, debit or credit card, charge to room and many more, venues with wi-Q or Mi-Room can now allow their customers or guests to pay via PXP.
PXP’s global, omni-channel payment gateway, which is already live in a number of global hospitality chains, allows venues to make the most of multiple sales channels, including wi-Q and Mi-Room, with just one payment provider. This will not only allow venues to reduce administration costs but enhance the customer experience and increase loyalty.
Graham Cornhill, Co-Founder and Managing Director of wi-Q Technologies, said “Consumers aren’t just demanding a rapid, user-centric hospitality ordering experience anymore; they expect a seamless digital journey right through to their choice of payment.
“By enabling PXP payments to wi-Q and Mi-Room, we have delivered another competitive advantage to hotels, bars and restaurants that will allow them to seamlessly and cost-effectively deliver a digital guest engagement platform that will future proof their business model.”
Franco Del Basso, PXP Board Director and Head of Business Development commented “Being able to provide our customers with latest mobile ordering solutions through a strategic partner was a key objective for PXP. This ensures existing customers using ANYpay have a complete cross channel tokenised service for all their sales channels whilst being able to provide the solution as a stand-alone service for any new business. PXP’s ANYpay solution can provide secure and reliable payment acceptance through any channel and we are delighted that wi-Q have partnered with PXP for their impressive wi-Q and Mi-Room applications.”
In the last year alone, wi-Q Technologies has delivered integrations and partnerships with the world’s leading technology providers including Oracle Hospitality, Aircharge and BitPay. The company’s user-centric technology has already been successfully implemented in venues and hotel groups around the world and is available on a low-capex, monthly SaaS fee.
